Introducing the TIKARI Flutes

Andrea Rosíková, artistic director of the ensemble

The flute ensemble TIKARI Flutes was founded in September 2013. Its members are students from the Marie Podvalová Elementary Art School in Prague 9 – Čakovice. Currently, the ensemble has 20 members aged between 12 and 21 years. The artistic directors were Andrea Rosíková and Jana Kasanová. Since the 2023-24 school year, the ensemble has been led by Andrea Rosíková.

The ensemble performs compositions by contemporary as well as classical composers, arranged for 1st to 5th flute, alto flute, bass flute, and contrabass flute.
