Introducing the TIKARI Flutes

Andrea Rosíková, artistic director of the ensemble

The flute ensemble TIKARI Flutes was founded in September 2013. Its members are students from the Marie Podvalová Elementary Art School in Prague 9 – Čakovice. Currently, the ensemble has 20 members aged between 12 and 21 years. The artistic directors were Andrea Rosíková and Jana Kasanová. Since the 2023-24 school year, the ensemble has been led by Andrea Rosíková.

The ensemble performs compositions by contemporary as well as classical composers, arranged for 1st to 5th flute, alto flute, bass flute, and contrabass flute.

The Tikari ensemble will perform at the Theresian Hall of Břevnov Monastery as part of the all-day Artistic Marathon of the ZUŠ Open festival. Our performance is scheduled for 18:27.

The Tikari ensemble will perform in the historic premises of the New Town Hall as part of a prestigious festival of young talented musicians. Our performance is scheduled for 19:00.

In cooperation with ZUŠ Sklenárova from Bratislava, we will celebrate the 270th anniversary of W. A. Mozart's birth. Our performance is scheduled for 18:00.
